10 Comic Book Movie Characters Who Face Uncertain On-Screen Futures

3. Moon Knight

Where is Moon Knight? Well, who knows at this point. It’s been over a year since the show aired on Disney+, and any concrete plans regarding a second series are still to be announced after leaving viewers with that teasing ending.

Sure, the show had its flaws, but overall, it was entertaining and equally enjoyable nonetheless. A recipe consisting of a truly mixed bag of thematic ingredients including Egyptology and mental health garnished with the supernatural, Moon Knight was unlike anything Marvel had produced before.

With Oscar Isaac leading from the front, it’s no wonder the show was so popular in hindsight. Boasting a strong supporting cast including Ethan Hawke, F. Murray Abraham and up-and-comer May Calamawy, Moon Knight’s greatest strength comes in the form of the aforementioned Isaac.

It’s no secret that the 44-year-old is one of Hollywood’s most admired actors. Isaac is the full package, and that’s made evident by how booked and busy he is with his hectic schedule leaving little wiggle room for an MCU return.

Albeit stuck in production purgatory, Blade would really be the ideal vein to inject Moon Knight into due to the film's comparable supernatural angle and backdrop as a potential second season continues to collect cobwebs. That’s easier said than done as Kevin Feige will be keen to not shoehorn the character in for the sake of it... or maybe he would? Here’s hoping he does!
