10 Comic Book Movie Henchmen Who Deserve Way More Praise

5. Quinn - Blade (1998)

Lady Deathstrike
New Line

From the moment he's on screen, he is the most wasted character to step in front of the camera.

The vampire enforcer loses both his hands on two separate occasions, and in the film's climax he energetically thinks he can take on Blade with just a small knife and two new hands. This should have been the moment Quinn finally showed his worth, but instead he runs headfirst into Blade's razor-wire and disintegrates into ashy dust before the rest of the villains can even take a second breath.

You have to admit, he was ambitious right to the very end.

But in true henchman form, he's a thorn in Blade's side and a personal nuisance that tracks throughout the film. He irritates Frost and Mercury by never shutting up, serves as the cocky boss to his own group of goons, and is bested at each time by Blade in variety of hilarious ways.

A round of applause to Quinn, not too much though he might think we're making fun of him.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
