10 Comic Book Movie Plots That Rely On Idiotic Decisions

2. Johnny Blaze Trusts The Devil (Ghost Rider)

The main character of the Ghost Rider movies shouldn't even exist in his super-powered form - not if he had a modicum of common sense anyway. Johnny Blaze becomes Ghost Rider because, when his father is dying of cancer, he agrees to sell his soul to the devil in exchange for him being cured. Of course, this is the devil - Mephistopheles - that we're talking about here, so no sooner was his father cured that he died in a motorcycle stunt accident that Blaze believed was of Mephistopheles' own making and Blaze found himself still in the devil's debt and his father died anyway. The moral of the story? Don't be stupid enough to make a deal with the devil, regardless of the situation, because it will be the worst deal you ever make.
