10 Comic Book Movie Plots That Rely On Idiotic Decisions
8. Stanley Ipkiss Puts On A Mask He Found By A Harbour (The Mask)
The entire plot of The Mask revolves around the titular item being worn by Stanley Ipkiss and granting him superpowers reminiscent of a cartoon character. However, the fact that he put it on in the first place was a stupid decision to say the least. For starters, he found it washed up in a harbour - who knows what kind of filth could have been on it? Most people wouldn't even want to touch anything they found washed up, let alone put it on their face. And then, after having caused complete and utter havoc and not remembered any of it, but found out what it had caused him to do - reminiscent of a drug and alcohol-fuelled binge of bad behaviour - he still decided to put it on again for further misadventures! Idiot!
