10 Comic Book Movies That Should've Been Made Years Ago

4. Iron Man Featuring The Real Mandarin

Superman has already had Lex Luthor as his movie villain (twice, with a third incarnation upcoming), while Luthor has also appeared in live action television shows as the Man of Steel's antagonist. Batman has already had the Joker as his movie villain (twice, with a third incarnation upcoming), while Joker has also appeared in live action television shows as the Dark Knight's antagonist. It's the done thing to use superhero's arch-enemies as their live action opponents. Thor and Loki, Captain America and Red Skull, Spider-Man and Green Goblin and Green Lantern and Hector Hammond add weight to this argument. So why did it take Iron Man three movies to get a hint of his arch-foe the Mandarin? And why, when he finally came along, was it not actually the Mandarin at all? The armoured hero should have been put up against his primary comic book villain on screen by now.
