10 Comic Book Movies That Actually Deserve Remakes

Catwoman doesn’t necessarily need a remake so much as she just needs a movie; the 2004 Halle Berry effort was so far removed from her character that it barely counts. The movie featured little-to-no cat burglary and the villain was a flesh eating face cream. Yes, seriously.

This plot line reeks of dusty old executives sitting in a board room and deciding that it’s only natural their lady superhero would have makeup as her villain. It’s not even Selena Kyle, but an unrelated character called Patience Phillips, whose personality seems to be that she’s a nice person who enjoys disrupting basketball games between little kids.

Rather than go on about how terrible that movie was though, it’s better to spend time praising the real Catwoman. She’s a show stealer in the Arkham games and a classic comic book favourite, she just needs a chance to shine.

With her noirish tones, sultry style, graceful movements and unpredictable morals, she has all the makings of a smash hit. Hopefully DC will give her another shot.
