10 Comic Book Movies That Changed Characters For The Better

5. Klaw - Black Panther

Spider-Man 2 Doctor Octopus
Marvel Studios

How do you make a notorious arms-dealer, thief and mass-murderer into the life and soul of the party? Cast Andy Serkis.

Comic Klaw is not what you would refer to as "a good lad". Born the son of a Nazi war criminal, Klaw becomes a physicist focused on applied sonics. Not like the sound of this kind of life, the choices that Klaw makes speaks volumes. He develops a transducer that converts sound waves to physical mass and murders T'Chaka, T'Challa's father and a Black Panther, in order to steal vibranium to fuel his new toy.

After some capers with various super-heroes, Klaw replaces a lost hand with a sonic gun and later becomes a being of pure sound (as one does).

Movie Klaw however, is just the best. He's still an arms dealer, but he's charismatic, has a shabby chic style and is played to perfection by mister Serkis. He still has a sonic gun instead of an arm after an encounter with Ultron, but instead of being mopey about it and declaring revenge, he just goes out and lives his best life, stealing and partying until he's seemingly killed by Killmonger.

Hopefully this is a temporary death, because we all need to know what is on that mixtape.
