10 Comic Book Movies That Could Be The Next Avengers: Infinity War
2. Secret War (Not Plural)

Yes, the Secret Wars of the Marvel Universe are getting kind of ridiculous at this stage, but at least there's no denying the premise to this particular one.
Secret War, a storyline penned by former Marvel heavyweight Brian Bendis, could do to the Avengers what Civil War did to Captain America. The event itself is predicated on Nick Fury's deception and the locale of Latveria, Doctor Doom's home country and the nation he commands with a literal iron fist.
In any case, the story opens as Nick Fury discovers a plot involving the Latverian prime minister (Lucia von Bardas) financing supervillains to commit atrocities in the United States. In response, Fury assembles a team to infiltrate Latveria and to put the plot to bed, one comprised of Daredevil, Black Widow, Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-Man and Daisy Johnson (who audiences will no doubt recognise from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
Though Secret War lacks the roster of Marvel's Infinity Saga, the story possesses immense crossover potential for the MCU as we know it. Fans have been clamouring to see the likes of Daredevil, Like Cage and Skye collide with characters from the cinematic side of things for ages now, and Secret War presents the perfect opportunity for such a thing to happen.
