10 Comic Book Villains That Deserve To Be In Movies

4. Kraven the Hunter

Sergei Kravinoff is a man intent on proving that he is the greatest hunter in the world by capturing the most elusive prey in the world, Spider-Man. He spent years trying unsuccessfully to defeat Spider-Man until one day he did. That story, 'Kraven€™s Last Hunt' is widely considered to be one of the greatest Spider-Man stories. It explores what could happen if a villain all consumed with defeating the hero finally succeeded. The result is a very dark story. Kraven is one of Spider-Man€™s oldest villains and was a founding member of the supervillain group the Sinister Six. He has appeared in pretty much every Spider-Man animated series that has ever been produced. Even so, Kraven€™s Last Hunt is still yet to be adapted in an animated series. This can be attributed to the more mature nature of the story not fitting with the child friendly nature of the animated series. Likelihood of appearing: 4 Kraven cropped animated It would be quite appropriate that Kraven the Hunter would go to New York to hunt Spider-Man and or the Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man film. There has been no confirmation yet that Kraven will appear in The Amazing Spider-Man film series. Both Electro and Rhino have been confirmed as villains in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, along with Harry and Norman Osborne who eventually become villains, and the Lizard from the first film. It has been suggested that the seeming abundance of villains is leading to the appearance of the Sinister Six in film. Given his long history with the Sinister Six, Kraven a prime candidate to join a cinematic version of the group. It seems unlikely that Kraven€™s Last Hunt will be adapted into film anytime soon, but there is still a chance for it to happen as the Amazing Spider-Man film series appears to be exploring some more mature themes.
