10 Comic Characters You Totally Forgot Are Already In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

2. Jim Wilson

Who? After making his first appearance in 1970, Jim Wilson went on to be one of Bruce Banner and the Hulk's closest allies, though his tenure in the comics ended decades later when he passed away due to AIDS complications. Notably, he was Sam "Falcon" Wilson's nephew. In the MCU: Jim appears in The Incredible Hulk alongside Jack McGee - a character based off Jack McGee from the Bixby/Ferrigno show - during the conflict between the Hulk, Emil Blonsky, and Ross' other men at Culver University. Why You Forgot: Between the fact that he doesn't say or do much of anything aside from being in a few reaction shots, it's easy to overlook that it's Jim at all. Should future films ever expand upon Sam Wilson's personal life - particularly if he ever ends up taking on the role of Captain America - it would be an excellent nod to bring back Jim for a cameo, either as a nephew, cousin, or some other family member, and help tie The Incredible Hulk to the MCU at large even further.
