Mackenzie Davis is a young actress who is just starting to get the kind of roles that will draw attention to her. She was recently featured as Miles Teller's love interest in That Awkward Moment, but she's actually the only actor on this list who is here because of their presence on a television show. She is set to star in Halt and Catch Fire, a show set during the 1980s computer technology doom. This is an AMC's new baby, and no doubt they're hoping that it will take the place of Breaking Bad or eventually Mad Men, which is winding down and will be over in 2015. If Halt and Catch Fire is anywhere near the success of either of those shows, Mackenzie Davis's star will rise in a big way. It certainly has the cast to do well -- her costars include Lee Pace and Scoot McNairy, who caught our attention as the skeptic in Argo. She's also set to appear in an intriguing comedy horror film called Kitchen Sink, about a peaceful town of co-existing humans, vampires, and zombies that suddenly turns to extreme violence.
