7. Foreign Movie Remakes

Consider for a moment that there's actually nobody alive right now who both loves (or even likes) a foreign movie and is - at the same time - praying that it gets remade in another language at some point in the future. That person just doesn't exist, because it makes no sense: why would they wish for a remake of a movie they're already totally happy with? I mean, you don't want them to remake
Pulp Fiction in Japanese, do you? (maybe that was a bad example - make it). As for those who don't even know about foreign movies with the potential to be remade in the first place, well... the fact they don't know they existed means that they were oblivious, so they don't care about seeing them remade either. If they did, they'd check out the foreign version and then they'd just like that one, right? The point I'm trying to make through all this crazed rambling, then, is that there is literally nobody alive who wants to see a foreign movie remade up until the time that it gets announced, and, like, fans of the original are "intrigued."
