3. Our Reality Is Fake
David Icke claims that what we perceive as reality is really a holographic projection, a system of control created by a predator race that has enslaved humanity. According to Icke, our overlords “have to work furiously to keep every domino in their agenda from falling because when one goes they all start to go.”
What does he call this system of control? The Matrix.
The only person who watched The Matrix and believed he was seeing a documentary, Icke quotes extensively from the movie (particularly in Children Of The Matrix, perhaps his best-known book) and claims the ideas are “not confined to a Hollywood sci-fi script.”
As in the movie, our fake reality is populated by “Red Dresses” (software programs receiving instructions from The Matrix), “System Fodder” (those who think and do as they’re told) and “those who are aware enough to see through the illusion.”
Leaving no doubt which group he considers himself in, Icke claims the third group “stand out from the crowd and are dubbed dangerous or mad because they don’t see the world like everyone else.”
