Maybe Jones had Captain America: The First Avenger in mind because if there is any such thing as an anti-fascist super solder, it’s the guy in the star-spangled uniform who punched out Hitler more than 200 times. Cap’s also pushing a multicultural/feminist agenda with a WWII team that includes Agent Carter, Jim Morita, Jacques Dernier and Gabe Jones, so you can see why he’d annoy fascists.
They likely consider Cap a left-wing agitator, the kind of guy who if he doesn’t like you or your politics will land in your backyard without a parachute just so he can mess with you. Clearly, Jones was on the side of Red Skull, a very stable genius who was in no way colluding with the Nazis.
