10 Craziest Movie Myths (That Turned Out To Be True)

2. Walt Disney's Final Words Were "Kurt Russell"

Disney

While the story about Walt Disney'€™s frozen head has been thoroughly debunked, the strange myth about his final words is completely true. Before Disney passed away he made one last communication by jotting down a specific name on some paper: Kurt Russell.

At the time Russell was a child actor working at Disney who had starred in several of their movies, and old Walt must have taken a shine to him. Yet even Russell was surprised when he was taken into an office shortly after Walt€™'s death and shown the paper with his name written on it.

For years afterwards nobody believed the story, even though the piece of paper was preserved by the company. Russell finally confirmed it in an interview, stating that he€™'s as baffled by it as everyone else is. Maybe Walt was making a prediction about how awesome Russell would become in later years. To his credit he called it right.
