10 Craziest Movie Myths (That Turned Out To Be True)

3. Jessica Rabbit's Secret Flash

It€™s odd to even suggest that an animated character could become a huge sex symbol, but that€™s exactly what happened with Jessica Rabbit. There'€™s no better proof of this than the fact all the LaserDisc copies of Who Framed Roger Rabbit sold out in 1994, following a news story about a brief flash of nudity hidden in the movie.

The offending moment happens after Eddie and Jessica crash their car just outside Toontown, where they are both sent flying through the air. If the image is slowed waaaaay down -€“ by the super curious out there -€“ it€™s possible that she might display more than intended. Jessica doesn't appear to be wearing anything to protect her from the breeze, though nothing graphic is seen either. There is still debate about this one; some think this moment was merely a quirk of the animation that reveals nothing, while others say it was a deliberate easter egg by the animators.

Whatever the case might be the image has been darkened considerably in every subsequent release and the area in question has been noticeably touched up. Allegedly other hidden messages scrawled in the movie were later removed, such as graffiti for a sex line that used the real number of a Disney chairperson.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
