David Tennant is perhaps one of the most charming and beloved actors to ever come from Great Britain. Yet his performance as Killgrave in the Netflix, now Disney Plus, series Jessica Jones was incredibly deranged for all the right reasons.

Killgrave was born with the ability to make anyone he talked to do whatever he said. This allowed him to force people to kill others and themselves or torture their children.

Killgrave is the definition of pure evil, he despises children to the point of constantly endangering them and he has grown to be extremely selfish and spoiled since he always gets whatever he wants.

Killgrave's main obsession in life seems to be the complete physical and mental control of Jessica Jones. In fact, for much of the first season, Jessica has to send him a picture of herself every day at 10am or else Killgrave will kill someone Jessica cares about.

Even when pulling his teeth out after getting punched by Jessica, Killgrave just keeps on smiling and giving off the sense that he will get his revenge tenfold. After his death at the end of the first season, Killgrave becomes a major part of Jessica's psyche for much of season two and the end of season three.

Killgrave is the only person who could have made the color purple truly terrifying to see on a tv screen.
