10 Creepiest Characters In The MCU

3. Kang/He Who Remains

Kang the Conquerer appears to be Marvel's next big Thanos level threat, though for now, this is just speculation. If Kang is to be the next Thanos, his initial debut in the final episode of Disney Plus' LOKI certainly set him up to be an incredibly terrifying Marvel foe.

Kang's first appearance in the MCU is as the being known only as He Who Remains, evidently the main universe's version of Kang. He Who Remains was incredibly overpowered, knowing everything that happens in his timeline before anyone else. This allowed him to easily dodge and manipulate the attacks of two Lokis.

He Who Remains had an all too brief time in the MCU, and yet underneath his childlike persona and his smug superiority complex, there was clearly something much more sinister.

Being the ultimate ruler of the MCU and causing any branching realities to be destroyed with robotic precision makes He Who Remains easily the MCU character with the highest kill count, and he is just a simple, older, and more philosophical variant of the real Kang. With just a taste Marvel fans are now all the more eager to see what will happen next with this relatively unknown Marvel villain.
