7. Julie Walker - Return of the Living Dead 3

One of the more dismal entries on this list. The unfortunate Julie Walker arguably would've been better off just staying dead, but thanks to the power of love or just pure selfishness she is brought back from the void of death. But to be fair she shouldn't have been grabbing her boyfriend's genitals whilst they both were riding a motorcycle helmetless.

After a crash, she is then exposed to a barrel of fog that by this point has been well established to turn anyone who comes in contact with it into the living dead. But of course, Curt Reynolds doesn't know this and for a little bit, it seems like both have lucked out here.

However, it doesn't take long for the never-ending hunger to take hold and even after mutilating her own body, Julie is taken by the virus. A glimmer of humanity does breakthrough long enough for the couple to rejoin each other and decided to end it all in a room full of flames.
