10 Critically Reviled Sci-Fi Movies (That Weren't Actually That Bad)
9. The 6th Day

Critics Consensus: "This offering from Arnold Schwarzenegger contains an intriguing, disturbing premise, but the film's execution is too routine and formulaic to make good use of it."
Okay, so maybe critically-reviled is a slight exaggeration when it comes to The 6th Day's reception considering that there were some out there who enjoyed the film, but call this writer crazy for feeling that it just deserved a little more love.
With Arnold Schwarzenegger in the leading role, the film details the story of a man that is accidentally cloned and his race to prove to the world that he is the real Adam Gibson - all while avoiding the people responsible for the mistake as they seek to take him out in order to keep everything hush hush.
We don't need to go into how great Schwarzenegger is as the action hero - because, again, he's brilliant - but we should mention that he does a solid job pulling double duty as both the original Adam and his clone.
Essentially the '90s answer to Total Recall, it's not quite as clever with the serious stuff as that film was, but it is one heck of a fun show and it's worth it alone just to see Arnie do what he does best.
