As far as the zombie genre goes, we've seen everything from zombie ninjas, robots and even beavers, but nothing is quite as disturbing as seeing an adorable young girl develop a taste for human flesh right before our eyes. In 1968 George A. Romero gave birth to the zombie movie genre with Night of the Living Dead. The story follows several characters trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania which is attacked by unnamed "living dead" monsters. While, you felt bad for all of these characters it was hard not to feel especially bad for the youngest one going through the ordeal, an 11-year-old girl named Karen (played by Kyra Schon, who was actually the producer's daughter). Karen's parents Helen and Harry seek refuge in the farmhouse basement after their daughter was bitten by one of the creatures. Little do they know, that their little girl is now slowly turning into a deadly flesh eating zombie right before their eyes. We subsequently witness this cute little kid murder her own parents and devour their decomposing flesh, and the scene's eeriness is enhanced by the mom's looped screams.
