10 DC Comics Villains Who NEED To Face Robert Pattinson's Batman (And Who Should Play Them)

8. Frank Grillo As Deathstroke

It's a shame that the Snyderverse will probably never happen, as Joe Manganiello was perfectly cast as Slade Wilson. We saw him, briefly, in the post-credit scene of the awful Justice League and he looked the part. Tall, muscular and the suit was fantastic, although trying to age Manganiello looked a little silly.

Frank Grillo, on the other hand, is perfect for the role should Slade Wilson be recast.

A staple of meh-to-very-good action vehicles, Grillo has hashed out a pretty good career as a dependable action star and a believable badass. In phenomenal shape for a man of 56 years of age, his face also has the world weary look of someone who has been through the wars.

It's safe to assume that Pattinson's Batman won't be as physically imposing as Ben Affleck's or Christian Bale's, so matching him up against a beefy guy with serious fighting training would make for a pretty intense fighting scene. Also, as it appears that we are meeting a younger Batman, Bruce's fighting skills will unlikely be up to par and a few near-misses with Deathstroke could really bring out the warrior within.

Shockingly underused by the MCU as Crossbones, giving Frank Grillo a beloved character in Matt Reeves' Batman series would be a great get.
