5. The Second Kryptonian Pod - Man Of Steel
The pod which brought Superman to Earth can be glimpsed in Man of Steel, during the scene where Clark Kent visits the Fortress of Solitude, but his pod isn't the only one on display. A second craft, identical to Kal-El's sits beside it.
The door of this vessel is wide open, which could be an indication that it ferried another Kryptonian to the planet, one who was clearly born in a barn. Some fans have even taken this Easter egg as confirmation that Supergirl is at large in the DCEU.
Supergirl is certainly at large, but not on the big screen. Right now, she's heading up a successful TV show with Melissa Benoist in the lead role, and Warner and DC are yet to reveal any plans to bring the character to their shared cinematic universe.
Man of Steel came out almost five years ago, so the studios are taking their time building on this Easter egg (assuming that's what it was intended to be), but don't be surprised to see Supes' cousin show up in the sequel when it finally arrives.
