10 DC Storylines That Need To Be Adapted To Film

5. Batman: Under The Red Hood

This story is regarded as one of the best animated comic book movies in history, and oh boy does it deserve that accolade.

As mentioned in the previous entry, Under the Red Hood is a sequel to the Death in the Family story. Set five years later, Ra's al Ghul has resurrected Jason Todd, and when he (Todd) learns that Bats didn't put an end to The Joker after his death, he stops at nothing to seek vengeance on both of them.

This movie needs to be adapted because it would add some much-needed dimension to Batman. Some people feel The Caped Crusader has become omniscient as he has an answer to everything, but the revival of his fallen comrade is something even he wouldn't be able to predict.

Another good reason why Warner Brothers need to make this movie happen is that The Red Hood outfit would make them loads of money based on merchandise. Much like Marvel's The Punisher, Red Hood's logo could become a Hot Topic staple and would easily become a recognizable feature in society. The main reason why this film needs to happen though is that it would change the way people see Batman's lore.
