8. Borat Takes Part In A Porno - Borat
If you've ever had the pleasure of witnessing any one of Sacha Baron Cohen's consistently outlandish skits whilst under the guise of his trusty Kazakhstani journalist Borat, you'd be forgiven for thinking that no situation was off limits.
Yet, in the case of Borat's first big screen adventure, Cohen was clearly game for a rather raunchy scene to make the final cut, but that still didn't stop the controversial moment landing on the cutting room floor in the end.
Cohen explained whilst on CONAN that they filmed a full scenario which saw the character joining a porn movie. This entirely real situation soon escalated when the actor kept derailing the shoot by respectfully allowing the two pornstars to continue without him, despite being directed to join in.
Things soon got out of hand when Borat only agreed to sleep with his co-star if she had hair on her "pubis", resulting in the director gluing pieces of his own hair on said area to move the shoot along.
Ultimately, Borat explaining that he'd contracted syphilis a whopping 24 times was the final straw, leading to the poor actress on set thankfully putting her foot down.
What a drama.
