10 Deleted Scenes From 2017 You Must See

Part of Wonder Woman's success was down to the fact it works as a solid, standalone story, without relying on other movies in the DC Extended Universe to launch it, or wasting precious runtime setting up the next instalment.

That said, this deleted epilogue would have worked well as a post-credits stinger to tie the movie to Justice League. Okay, so Wonder Woman was great and Justice League wasn't, but DCEU fans would have appreciated the continuity.

The footage finds Lucy Davis's Etta Candy briefing Diana's allies Sameer, Charlie and Chief Napi on a new mission which involves escorting something "very old and very powerful" that was discovered on a battlefield during World War I to America.

She hands out a few official documents, and nestled between them is a sketch of a Mother Box, those powerful alien computers which ended up serving as the McGuffins in Zack Snyder's Justice League.

It's a cool teaser, and the fact Etta decks somebody during it is merely a bonus.
