4. Batman Looks Even Gloomier Than Usual

In the first Batman image released by the studio, Batman looks pretty depressed. I mean, he's not exactly the cheeriest of characters in the first place, what with the parent-murder and the cave-dwelling and all, but jeez does the guy look like he's got a casket in his Batmobile. He's got a Batmobile, for crying out loud! Isn't that something to crack a smile about? Evidently not, as it seems we're in for a Caped Crusader who's more dour than even Christian Bale's (who did actually manage to crack a joke every once in a while). No doubt he'll be perpetually angsty about his parents and resentful of his enormous wealth, and his interactions with Kal-El will likely be characterised by them bonding over how rubbish both their lives are.
