7. Phil Lord & Christopher Miller - MCU's Spider-Verse
Yes, I know, Lord & Miller did not direct Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. They did, however, write it.
If there were ever to be a live action Spider-Verse, featuring the likes of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire then it stands to reason that a very different style of direction would be needed compared to the animated film. This is a job that Lord & Miller would be well-suited to.
The writing of Into The Spider-Verse instilled the heart into that film before the voice cast, direction and beautiful animation were applied, so for a movie that would be lacking those particular elements it seems only smart to have that same heart brought to an MCU Spider-Verse in the form of Lord & Miller directing.
