10 Directors And The Superhero Films They Should Make

2. Matthew Vaughn - Green Arrow

Edgar Wright The Flash
DC Comics

Matthew Vaughn directed the Kingsman films, Kick Ass and X-Men: First Class - that is a talent that Marvel Studios and/or Warner Bros. should definitely consider hiring.

Warner Bros. especially, as Vaughn's unique direction would really fit with Green Arrow.

Focusing on his work on Kingsman, those films have some insane fight scenes. These scenes featured the most absurd weapons - umbrellas, gadget watches, lassos - being used but the way in which they are shot give the action a unique fast, flowing rhythm that somehow makes the protagonist look really cool.

Swap the likes of umbrellas out for a bow & arrow, a weapon that is actually considered both badass and effective, and you have the set up for a movie with some awesome action.

Vaughn's work also managed to have a lot heart alongside the brawling, meaning that a Green Arrow film directed by him would have substance as well as style.
