10 Directors For The New Spider-Man Movie

1. Phil Lord And Chris Miller

Phil Lord and Chris Miller have become experts at taking properties no one thinks can succeed (The LEGO Movie) or remembers (Jump Street) and making them great, so what would happen when they were handed the keys to a well-known franchise like Spider-Man? It's hard to imagine the results being anything other than spectacular, and this visionary pair of directors have the potential to bring fans the Spider-Man movie they've always wanted. Their unique brand of equally smart and goofy humour is perfectly suited to a character like Peter Parker, and their track record has so far been great enough that them being involved with the reboot as both writers and directors would inspire a lot of confidence. It's also worth noting that Sony at one point approached them about some sort of animated Spider-Man movie. It was never made clear what this would involve, but the fact that they have ties to the franchise at least puts them on the studio's radar as definite candidates for this live-action take on Spidey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It all depends on their schedule, especially if that Jump Street/Men in Black crossover is still happening...
