10 Directors Who Need To Join The DC Cinematic Universe

7. Joseph Kosinski

#4 - Joseph KosinskiWhy should Kosinski join the DCCU? Kosinski is a sci-fi director known mainly for Tron: Legacy and the announced sequel to that sequel. He also made Oblivion, starring Tom Cruise, which despite the bland title was actually not bad. He may or may not be attached to a Twilight Zone film adaptation, but if not his slate is relatively clear (as far as the public is concerned). Regardless of the story flaws in both Tron: Legacy and Oblivion, the visuals were for the most part stunning, and Kosinski's creativity and clear devotion to a genre make him a great candidate for the DC Cinematic Universe. What should Kosinski direct? Green Lantern. The Tron visuals lead one to believe that Kosinski could manage to fit Hal Jordan or John Stewart into a green world without making it look as ridiculous and CGI-filled as the shoddy Ryan Reynolds version.
