Europe. But after the revitalization that was Midnight in Paris, I was excited to see what he would do next. An anthology set in Rome, with a great crop of actors? Why not? The Reality: Nope, seems it's back to aiming to make old people laugh. The worst and best that can be said about To Rome with Love is that it's bland and inoffensive. It feels like a whole bunch of spare ideas that Allen couldn't stretch into feature length tossed into one movie. What a letdown.
