10 Disgraceful Actor Egos That Ruined Movies

6. Wesley Snipes - Blade: Trinity

Val Kilmer Batman Forever
New Line Cinema

The third, final and worst film in the Blade franchise is better known for star Wesley Snipe’s on-set antics rather than being a movie worth remembering. Reportedly unhappy with David S. Goyer (who penned the scripts for the first two Blade films) being brought on as director, Snipes refused to cooperate, preferring instead to stay in his trailer smoking pot according to co-star Patton Oswalt.

Oswalt also claims that the situation came to a head when Snipes accused Goyer of racism because he spotted a black extra who was wearing a t-shirt with the word ‘garbage’ on it (apparently by choice) and tried to strangle the director. This prompted Goyer to hire a local biker group to act as his security detail after which Snipes would only communicate with the director via Post-it notes he signed in character as Blade.

How can imagine how on earth the movie turned out so badly.
