10 Disney Movie Details Only Grown-Ups Would Notice

Cinderella’s rodent sidekicks Jaq and Gus show just how trusty they are when they risk life and limb to retrieve a necklace from Lady Tremaine’s evil, mouse-hungry pet cat Lucifer to complete her outfit for Prince Charming’s ball.

In the process, the necklace breaks sending beads flying everywhere and Jaq, in his haste to grab them all, starts threading them on Gus’s tail. How resourceful of them and how sweet! Except, from the angle we see this act of ingenuity unfold, it looks suspiciously like Jaq is engaging in some anal bead play with his little friend Gus which is pretty kinky for a film made in 1950.

And before you say “People back in the 50s didn’t use anal bead! They had prim and proper missionary sex once a month and that was more than enough!”, remember that people have been sticking objects up their rectums for fun for hundreds if not thousands of years.

So while they may not be anal beads as we know (and love?) today, it’s not totally beyond the realm of believability that an anal bead reference lurks in Cinderella.
