Univeral PicturesNumber one, then. The people have voted, and apparently this is the most ridiculous scene in any movie ever - and it's hard to disagree, given the circumstances. So the big WTF moment in this movie occurs when Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) finds herself sitting atop a moving tank during a frankly absurd freeway chase. When she's suddenly catapulted off of said tank, it looks pretty grim; going at such insane speeds, who could really survive? Cue Vin Diesel's musclebound hero, Dom, who rescues Letty by doing something so ridiculous it can't really be explained with words: he fires himself from a moving car by crashing it into a barrier, grabs Letty in mid-air (?), and pulls her to safety onto the hood of ANOTHER CAR. Nobody is injured at all. Whoever storyboarded such a physics-defying sequence needs to be committed to a mental institution.
