Columbia PicturesWell, look. It had to be here somewhere, because it is - without a doubt - one of the most curious scenes to have ever worked its way into a blockbuster movie. Watching it, you really do wonder what went through director Sam Raimi's head when he said, "Yes. Let's absolutely include a scene in this movie where Peter Parker grows an emo fridge, jumps around on the tables at a jazz club, clicks his fingers, and says things like 'Dig on this.'" Everybody who is anybody has witnessed this scene by now, because there's no way to really describe the sheer insanity of it without actually sitting down to analyse it, play by play. The weirdest thing about jazz club Spidey is that it really doesn't have a lot of context; it's as if the middle-aged men who made this movie had to conjure up something they thought was "dark and cool," and by way of committee it ended by involving a jazz club dance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRPoiTHMuzc
