4. Chaos Reigns - Antichrist
IFCIf you value things like "being happy" and "not wanting to throw yourself off a bridge on a Tuesday night," then Antichrist probably isn't the movie for you. Lars von Trier's most controversial and explicit movie stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsborough as a mourning couple who shack up in the woods in an attempt to get over the death of their child; what happens next isn't the stuff of reconnection, but totally unexpected mutilation. There are some truly awful sequences scattered throughout Antichrist, many of which will have you questioning your appetite for weeks to come. The ridiculous levels are generally high as a result of this, but one sequence stands out as Von Trier just throwing in something ridiculous for the sake of it - simply because he's already gone far another, and why not have a random talking fox that comes back from the dead and says, "Chaos reigns"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L2ooG_MX9E
