3. Godzilla Fight - Crank: High Voltage
LionsgateThe original Crank was pretty much a video game rendered as a movie, and was essentially a blast to witness from start to finish on account of its self-aware stupidity. The sequel, then, had to rise even more ridiculous odds, and to do so the directors decided to fashion a fight sequence between two men rendered in the style of an old Godzilla movie, complete with men in costumes dressed up as sort of twisted, cartoonish versions of themselves. The genius of this sequence comes in the fact that there is absolutely no reason for it to occur, except for the fact that it's a hell of a lot of fun. Out of context, it's balmy as hell, as two grown men battle one another wearing suits of themselves at a power plant, but it's just as wacky whilst viewed in context, too. After all, there are bad zooms of small plastic people reacting passively to the carnage, and the most ridiculous slow-mos ever conceived. Ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb682WbGgOA
