6. Quentin Tarantino and Jack Nicholson
Jack Nicholson, even after all these years, is still the King of Cool. Deservedly spoken of as one of the greatest actors of all time, Nicholson is in search of one last great performance before he rides off into the sunset for good. After the unparalleled disaster that was The Bucket List, Nicholson needs to be resurrected for one last great performance and Tarantino should be the director to get it out of him. Tarantino films are filled with scenery chewing performances. From Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs to Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction to Leonardo DiCaprio in Django Unchained, Tarantino has a history of letting actors completely off the hook and nobody has ever chewed the scenery quite like Jack. Nicholson would make a great villain in the Tarantino universe and could inhabit a number of different roles that show a new generation just how great an actor he is. There is the chance of a personality clash between the pair as they're both known for being quite strong-headed, confrontational and egotistical, but that just makes the idea of them working together even more fun.
