10 Dream MCU Projects Disney Will (Probably) Never Make
6. Daredevil's Iconic Team-Ups
Due to a sneaky clause written into the Netflix-Marvel deal that brought the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist to the small-screen, Marvel Studios are forbidden from using any of these characters in the MCU for around two years - and that's two years after the last episode from each respective series aired.
Still, even though that is the case, it's inevitable that Netflix's Defenders will make their way to Disney+ at some point in the near future. Heck, some may even get the opportunity to appear in a film of their own - at least if Marvel's comments from D23 mean anything - and that's really cool. Sadly though, due to the fact certain characters have moved on, there is one figure who's going to miss out big-time when he finally gets to rejoin the MCU, and that's Daredevil.
The Man Without Fear works fine enough on his own (and by fine, I actually mean amazing), but a bulk of his most iconic stories have involved key figures from the Marvel universe. His partnership with Black Widow, although messy in a whole host of ways, could've been the gateway for the character to mark a new resurgence in live action.
Likewise, longtime Marvel fans won't need reminding just how much Matt Murdock has teamed up with Spider-Man. But now, with Black Widow dead and Spider-Man inevitably getting Poochie'd by Marvel, there's zero chance of either team-up ever becoming a reality.
