10 Dumbest Decisions In The Fast And Furious Saga

6. Sean Challenges DK To A Drift

If you have only ever flown the model planes your father bought you as a child for Christmas, you don't hop in the pilot's seat on your first red-eye from Heathrow; equally, if you have never drifted a motor vehicle before, let alone a souped-up Nissan Silvia S15 in the tight confines of a Tokyo parking lot, it might be unwise to just wing it.

But, in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) that is precisely what ex-pat high-school redneck Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) does.

Not just that, but he challenges the renowned 'Drift King' to this race. Worse still, the man he challenges, Takashi (Brian Tee), is a known associate and family member of the Yakuza.

Having never drifted a day in his life, instead preferring to tear up roads, housing developments and his face in American muscle, Sean unsurprisingly proceeds to annihilate the car loaned to him by Han Lue (Sung Kang), entering into his debt.

Talk about your mouth writing checks your driving can't cash.
