10 Dumbest Moments In The Halloween Series

4. The Electrocution (Halloween 6)

Who needs a coherent plot when you have a grisly death scene topped off with an exploding head? That's clearly what the folks behind Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers thought, and to be fair to them, this kill was at least amusing.

It occurred late on in the movie when Michael took all-round douchebag John Strode by surprise in the basement of the Myers House and rammed his trademark butcher knife through his stomach. He then proceeded to defy the laws of physics by lifting his victim off the ground using one hand, and things only got sillier from there.

Next, the Shatner-masked killer pinned John to a fusebox and watched as the electricity coursed through him, frying him, because a blade to the abdomen apparently wasn't fatal enough. The current caused him to writhe in agony and foam at the mouth before his head exploded like a pumpkin under a sledgehammer blow.

Not only was this one the brashest, most over-the-top kills in the entire series, it's debatable whether someone's head would blow up Scanners-style if you channelled this much electricity through them. It's an experiment nobody should ever try at home, but the results would indubitably be less dramatic than John Strode's demise.
