This week, we've been running down the very best movies of summer 2014, as well as the 10 most disappointing movies from this summer, and finally, we're resurrecting a tradition we started in 2012 and did again last year, whereby we run down the dumbest moments from the summer's movies, from films both good and bad. That's right, our list actually contains a number of good movies and even a great one, but they're all good and great movies that couldn't get by without one brain cell-zappingly stupid scene, moment or creative decision that we just couldn't leave out. Then there's the so-so, bad, terrible and downright braindead movies that completely sucked anyway, and we've merely cherry-picked the most offensively idiotic scene out of each. All of these 10 things have one common ground: they made us instinctively facepalm at Hollywood's creative stagnation and stupidity, and had us feverishly craving the impending awards season with which we can wash away all of these bad memories. Of course, we're never happy, so that'll naturally just lead to an article along the lines of "10 Dumbest Things We Saw In The Worst Oscar Season Ever" in the future.
