1. Michelangelo Creeping On April - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Scene: Again, this isn't so much a single scene as it is the overwhelming tone of Michelangelo's interactions with April O'Neil throughout the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. From his early quip of, "She's so hot I can feel my shell tightening" to his repeated attempts to hit on and perv over April, it's, as Michelangelo would put it himself, "super creepy." Why It's Dumb: This isn't the Turtles we grew up with, and in most other areas, that isn't a huge problem, but why on Earth did Michael Bay and his creative team really think that anyone would be interested in hearing about Michelangelo's inter-species sexual feelings about April? At least when Will Arnett's Vernon Fenwick spends several scenes drooling over Megan Fox's posterior, we can totally relate to it, and though it's juvenile, at least it's believable. As for Mikey getting a turtle hard-on for his childhood friend? Not so much. More than anything else that the movie got wrong, this one actively abused our childhood conception of the innocence of the characters. Just horrible. Did we miss any majorly dumb scenes from this summer's movies? Let us know in the comments!
