10 Dumbest Villain Plans From Sci-Fi Movies

4. If Everyone’s A Vampire, No One Is - Deacon Frost (Blade)

Starring Wesley Snipes as the eponymous half-vampire hero, Stephen Norrington's Blade from 1998 had a very dark tone to it and did an excellent job of portraying its villainous bloodsuckers as a proper threat.

That is, until you examine their big plan for more than ten seconds.

Leading the dark side in this film is Stephen Dorff's Deacon Frost, a sociopath with dreams of world domination. He plans to achieve this by summoning the ancient blood god La Magra and turning the whole world's population into vampires.

Right, there's a big problem with this.

What do vampires feed off? Blood, yes, but which kind? Human blood. And what are they all going to eat if all the humans go bye-bye? Each other? Cows? Tofu? Not likely.

Frost's plan has all the grand machinations of all the best supervillain plots, but he really should have thought about the follow-up. His idea wouldn't just ruin the world for humans, but also for vampires in the long run. Talk about a double disappointment.

Thankfully, Blade kills Frost in the film, saving him the embarrassment of realising that his scheme was really stupid.
