What happens? Bank worker Tommy just can't take his girlfriend's manipulative games any more. In a fiery passion he bears all and creates on of cult cinema's most iconic moments.
Why is it hilarious? As we all know, this entire film was unintentionally hilarious. Its reception was in fact so negative, that director Tommy Wiseau claimed it was a dark comedy and was deliberately bad, although seeing as this was after the film was slammed, it's pretty likely this isn't true. Watching Tommy with his muddled accent trying to express emotion in this beautiful mess of a film makes for essential group viewing. This film is so bad it's good and this scene epitomizes that. The sheer lack of anything even resembling human feelings here is enough to make anyone with a pulse bellow with joy.
