4. Spider-Man Takes The Subway (The Amazing Spider-Man)
Columbia PicturesAndrew Garfields Spider-Man may be a little cooler than the Tobey Maguire incarnation of the hero, but Peter Parkers ability to get himself into uncomfortable situations is one of his defining characteristics, and The Amazing Spider-Man thankfully didnt try to change that. On an otherwise normal subway ride home, Peters emerging abilities cause havoc as his spider-sense starts a fight with his fellow passengers, and he manages to rip off a womans shirt in the debacle. The action is actually entertaining in its own right; Peter mistakenly attaches himself to a pole and nonetheless unleashes some of Spider-Mans trademark acrobatics to despatch his attackers. However, its Garfields horrified stammered apologies which make the scene, especially when he throws one man halfway through the carriage and then anxiously asks him, Are you alright? Its another Spider-Man moment which could have come straight from the pages of the comics.
