6. Heart Of Stone
Another action thriller set to drop on Netflix in the coming months, Tom Harper's Heart of Stone has also largely gone under the radar since it was officially announced back in December 2020.
This Skydance project will serve as the streaming service's answer to the Mission: Impossible and James Bond franchises, with Gal Gadot taking on the starring role of elite agent Rachel Stone in the spy adventure.
It all looks rather promising.
Harper was behind the likes of Wild Rose and The Aeronauts, while the script was also penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, known for their work on The Old Guard and Hidden Figures, respectively.
It seems safe to assume this won't just be your usual empty calorie action flick then.
However, that still doesn't change the fact that next to no one is likely aware this "realistic" Gadot vehicle will be crashing onto Netflix in the not too distant future.
Outside of a pulsating first look at the incoming Stone mission that dropped in September 2022, the streaming service has done very little to push what could be the beginning of an epic new franchise.
So, it'll be interesting to see whether this Stone sinks or swims come August 11.
