10 Essential Avengers Villains Not Yet Used In The Movies
5. The Beyonder
Battleworld, anyone? One of Marvel's more popular stories, the Secret Wars saw The Beyonder gather heroes and villains to fight arena-style, pitting good and evil for his own amusement. His power set is Celestial level, and would cause a lot of big problems for the Avengers he forces to play his game.
It's a simple enough premise to adapt: Take some of our favourite heroes and then mash them together, times a hundred, to see who comes out on top. We saw some level of this arena style fighting from the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok, but The Beyonder would absolutely take this concept to new heights if given the opportunity.
It would make great MCU film or TV fare, as it's easier to adapt than other, more complex storylines, and the inner child in all of us would love to have somebody to root for in an all-out brawl—not to mention the inevitable rebellion, escape plan, or final battle against the Beyonder himself. The Beyonder who, despite being an ancient being of massive power, is also the youngest and brashest of his kind, making him an interesting villain to go up against.
