10 Essential Marvel Villains Not Yet Used In The MCU

3. Namor

Namor Came First
Marvel Comics

While Namor has fought alongside genuine heroes like Captain America and The Human Torch in the past, he is not a hero in the traditional sense. The King of Atlantis only fights for himself or his home. The Sub-Mariner has also opposed the Marvel heroes on numerous occasions, even going so far as to join forces with Doctor Doom and Magneto.

The best way to bring Namor into the MCU would be as a villain in a Black Panther sequel, as it naturally plays to the historical conflict between Atlantis and Wakanda. The two nations, and Namor and T'Challa on a personal level, have a rich history of battle, with attacks, revenge, and murder always creating tension between the two.

In Black Panther, Killmonger was an incredible villain, both charismatic and relatable, whose interactions with T'Challa were fascinating and sincere. But he was a one and done villain. With Namor, Marvel could have another Loki on their hands - a charming antagonist you can't help but love, a murderous megalomaniac one minute, and a vital part of the heroes' victory the next.
